We here at River Bend Gotland and Shetland Sheep Farm, have begun our adventure into the Gotland sheep world. We have started with 2 Shetlands and 3 50% Gotland/Shetland ewes. We can now say that after a very excting lambing season and with the purchase of a couple more Gotland ewes, we have a grand total of 6 50% and 9 75%.
I am fascinated with the wool of this rare breed of sheep. These Gotlands are easy lamber, good mothers and hardy in general. These beautiful Gotland sheep are quiet, friendly and very inquisitive.
